Our Mission

Nelson Charitable Foundation was established in 2001 and has since been helping non-profit organizations within the Evans City community.  Funds raised from the golf outing are donated to these non-profit organizations to help with projects, supplies, and programs throughout the year.

The Nelson Charitable Foundation is proud to announce its 33rd Annual Golf Outing, the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts aimed at supporting essential non-profit organizations in Evans City. This year's event will take place on Friday, August 21, 2026, at the prestigious Slippery Rock Golf Club.

Participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a day of golf in a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere, all while contributing to vital projects, supplies, and programs that our local non-profits provide throughout the year.

Every dollar raised during the golf outing goes directly to these organizations, enabling them to continue their important work and serve our community effectively. The foundation has a long history of supporting various initiatives, and with your participation, we can make an even greater impact.
